Söndagen den 5e april kör vi en centerfire-PRS tävling i terräng utanför Kristianstad. Tävlingen går över ca. 9 stationer och en total på ca. 100 skott. Avstånden kommer att variera mellan 200 och 600m.

Sunday the 5th of April we are running a centerfire-PRS competition in terrain outside Kristianstad. The competition will be 9 stages and roughly 100 shots. Distances will vary between 200 and 600m.

Söndagens tävling börjar med upprop 7.30 på Fjälkinge backes parkering, därefter åker vi gemensamt till tävlingsplatsen. Vi kommer att vara utomhus hela dagen och du kommer att behöva gå ca. 2,5km under dagen så anpassa kläder och packning efter det. När vi väl gått in på området kommer infarten att stängas och ingen kommer att kunna släppas in utan att avbryta matchen så det är viktigt att alla är i tid till uppropet. Hanteringen av matchen kommer att genomföras med hjälp av Riflematch.com för enkelhets skull.

Planen är preliminärt att skjuta 9 stationer med totalt ca. 100 skott. Ta med fler skott ifall det blir omskjutning. Vi kommer att ha fasta RO men patrullerna kommer behöva sköta spotting på en eller flera stationer. Det kommer att finnas möjlighet att kolla nollan på 100m under dagens gång. Vi har lärt oss av föregående års missöden med att vissa av plåtarna hoppade av krokarna och jobbat tillsammans med Tobbe/Botnia för att undvika problem.

Resa och boende

Om du kommer långväga ifrån så är de närmsta flygplatserna Kristianstad och Ronneby via Stockholm. Bilväg är det ca. 5-6 timmar från Stockholm och 3 timmar från Göteborg lite beroende på vem som kör.
Det finns gott om hotell och AirBnB i närheten och ska du delta båda dagar är det mest praktiskt att bo i, eller öster om, Kristianstad.

Sunday’s competition begins with roll call at 7:30 AM in the parking lot at Fjälkinge backe, after which we will travel together to the competition site. We will be outdoors all day and you will need to walk approximately 2.5 km during the day, so adjust your clothing and packing accordingly. Once we have entered the area, the entrance will be closed and no one will be allowed in without interrupting the match, so it is important that everyone is on time for roll call. Match administration will be handled using Riflematch.com for simplicity.

The preliminary plan is to shoot 9 stages with a total of approximately 100 rounds. Bring extra rounds in case of re-shoots. We will have designated ROs, but squads will need to handle spotting at one or more stages. There will be an opportunity to confirm your zero at 100 meters during the day. We will provide a light lunch, drinks, and snacks during the day.

We have learned from last year’s mishaps, when some of the steel targets came off their hooks, and have worked together with Tobbe/Botnia to avoid similar problems.

Travel and accommodation

If you are traveling from far away, the nearest airports are Kristianstad and Ronneby via Stockholm. By car, it is approximately 5–6 hours from Stockholm and about 3 hours from Gothenburg, depending on who’s driving.

There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs nearby, and if you are participating both days, it is most practical to stay in or east of Kristianstad.
